BloomText gives maternal health organizations a shared, secure communication workspace. Clients and partners text a dedicated practice number and reply over SMS — no app required. Care teams share visibility across shifts and roles. Photos, birth plans, and documents travel through encrypted channels. Every conversation stays with the organization, and a signed BAA is included on every plan.

The maternal health communication lifecycle

  1. Inquiry — a family contacts the practice or registry through a dedicated number.
  2. Prenatal communication — questions, instructions, appointments, and preparation.
  3. Birth-team coordination — primary and backup doulas or midwives share visibility.
  4. Document exchange — birth plans, consent forms, insurance cards, and care guides.
  5. Coverage — on-call staff see the full conversation and respond with context.
  6. Referral handoff — registries introduce the selected doula in a private thread.
  7. Postpartum follow-up — check-ins and resources in the same retained conversation.

BloomText supports this lifecycle as a communication layer. It does not replace clinical records, scheduling, native forms, or emergency services.
