Find a coworker or team and message them
Look up a coworker or team in the Directory and start a secure chat with them in a few clicks.
Who can do this: Everyone · Web and desktop
When you need to reach a therapist, a clinician or another team about a patient, the Directory gets you there quickly. You find the person or team, then start a secure chat with them.
Before you start
- You can message people and teams in your own organization.
Message a coworker
- Click Directory in the left bar.
- Click Coworkers at the top of the list.
- Type a name in Search coworkers.
- Click the person to open their page. Admins show an Admin badge.
- Click the chat icon (Start a chat) at the top of their page.
- New chat opens with them already in To. You can add more people here.
- Click Message to open the chat, then type your message.
If you already have a chat with them, New chat tells you so, and Message opens that chat.
Message a team
- In Directory, click Teams.
- Type a name in Search teams, for example Billing Office.
- Click the team to open its page.
- Click More settings (the three dots) at the top of the page, then Create a chat.
- New chat opens with the team in To. Click Message, then type your message.
A message to a team goes to the team's shared inbox, where anyone on the team can answer.
Good to know
- On a coworker's page, Recent Chats lists the chats you already share, so you can pick up an existing thread.
- If you work in more than one organization, check that you're looking at the right one in the Directory.
