Tag patients and add them to a broadcast

Tick patients in the Directory's Patients table, tag them all at once, then add them to a broadcast. Nothing is sent until someone sends it.

Who can do this: Everyone · Web and desktop

The Patients table in the Directory lists every patient, with their tags and texting status. Tick the patients you want, and you can tag them or add them to a broadcast in one step.

Tag patients

  1. Click Directory in the left bar.
  2. Click the Patients tab. Every patient is in one table, with their tags and texting status.
  3. Tick the box beside a patient, for example Grace Huang.
  4. Tick another, for example Mason Lopez. The bar above the table now offers Add tag and Add to broadcast.
  5. Click Add tag to tag both patients at once.
  6. Pick a tag, for example New patient. Tags are shared by everyone in your organization.
  7. Click Add tag. Both patients get the tag in one step.
  8. Both rows now show the tag, and the selection clears.

Add them to a broadcast

  1. Tick Grace Huang again. Finishing an action clears the selection.
  2. Tick Mason Lopez again, so both are selected.
  3. Click Add to broadcast. Nothing is sent until someone sends the broadcast.
  4. Pick the broadcast, for example Back-to-school checkups. The count shows how many patients are new to it, already on it, or can't receive texts.
  5. Click Add 2 patients (the button counts the new patients).
  6. A bar confirms the patients were added, and says nothing was sent.
