Cancel or downgrade your plan
Cancel your BloomText plan by emailing BloomText support, or pay for fewer seats by removing members, and see when your plan ends.
Who can do this: Organization admins · Web and desktop
If your practice is closing, switching tools or getting smaller, an admin can cancel the plan or lower what you pay. A cancelled plan keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for.
Before you start
- You need to be an organization admin.
- Export any records you need to keep before the plan ends.
Cancel your plan
- Email support@bloomtext.com from your admin account. Include your practice's name and ask to cancel.
- BloomText support confirms the cancellation and the date your plan ends.
- Your plan keeps running until the end of the period you've paid for. On the Plan tab, a banner says This plan will be canceled on and the end date.
Texting and team chat keep working until that date.
Pay for fewer seats instead
Team Chat is billed per active member. To lower the bill, remove people who no longer need access:
- In Settings → Organizations → your practice, open the Members tab.
- Click Remove on each person who has left, and confirm. See Change a member's role or title, or remove them.
- Open the Plan tab again. The seat count has dropped.
To text fewer patients each month, choose a smaller SMS tier. See Change the tier of one feature.
Good to know
- Export conversations and records before the end date shown in the banner.
- Removing a member ends their access right away.
